The national interdisciplinary Research School Religion-Values-Society (RVS) will be launched at MF at 15.00 on February 9th.
RVS has received a grant for 23 million NOK over eight years to become a national research school. This new RVS will be launched at reception held at MF on Tuesday February 9th, at 15.00 in the canteen.
– This grant gives us a whole other scope and range of possibilities than we have had in our work so far, says Geir Afdal, project manager. – This will help us expand our work to bring together scholars working empirically on religion, values and society in Norway, and beyond.
The reception will include light refreshments and some entertainment, as well as speeches and greetings by representatives and partners of RVS.
