SUMMARY:RVS Fall course 2026: Decolonizing as theory and practice
DESCRIPTION:The RVS Fall course 2026 will be hosted by University of Oslo, Faculty of T
heology, with University of Agder as co-host. \nThe RVS fall course invites
participants to reflect critically about decolonization as theory and prac

and for whom do we produce knowledge? Decolonization calls us to task. The
course will offer PhD-candidates theoretical perspectives and methods that
enrich critical thinking about knowledge and knowledge-making and their im
plications for social justice. Central concepts: Intersectionality, methodo
logy and epistemology.\nHostThe course is hosted by University of Oslo, Fac
ulty of Theology. Co-hosted by Univeristy of Agder. Venue: Oslo. \nPlanning
committee: Marianne Bjelland Kartzow (TF), Nina Gacic (TF, PhD student rep
resentative), Nina Hoel (TF), Ida Marie Høeg (UiA), Jens-Ole Köhrsen (TF),
Fredrik Saxegaard (RVS). \nKeynotesElaine Nogueira-Godsey, Drew University,
U.S.\nKarin Jarnkvist, Mittuniversitetet, Sweden.\nWhat to know before you
