The course brought together ten PhD-students from Norway, Sweden and Denmark to explore how and to what extent market configurations and ideologies influence contemporary religious life, including some updates on theories and case studies on how religious life influences the economy as well. This was done through lectures by senior scholars on different aspects of these questions, as well as having paper sessions where the PhD student discussed these quesitons among themselves and in relation to their own research projects.
