To Friday, 29. September 2023 - 15:00
RVS invites you to take part in a virtual writing week September 25 - 29. The aim is: To facilitate an intensified writing environment, that may help you avoid the many tempting distractions and fierce forces of resistance that PhD. students struggle with!
The premise is simple: You all join from your home, office or any other place, and meet up via Zoom. We provide a time framework, a sense of community (although online), and a few sessions about essential topics for Ph.D. writing. We also offer limited resources for feedback on texts that you are working on this week.
It will be possible to sit together in a seminar room at MF School of Theology, Religion and Society in Oslo; but we are not able to pay for any travel or accommodation.
We recommend that you set aside the whole week, and try to avoid any other job duties. Participating in the week may be a good excuse to say no to other appointments and simply be there for the writing. Still, it is possible to apply even if you need to prioritize other things for a few sessions or a day. But: We strongly encourage you to be present at the morning session and the end session each day (unless you away for the whole day).
The writing week is open for all PhD students who write within the fields of religion, values and society. So tell your friends!
Deadline for application: September 1st. We will publish the program and application form ca. August 1st.
